The Original 1227 Giant Floor Lamp was launched in 2016 and is the largest variant of the floor lamp from the Original 1227 collection designed by George Carwardine for Anglepoise. This giant floor lamp was originally created for the Roald Dahl Museum in Buckinghamshire and is a tribute to the author Roald Dahl who used the lamp with great passion at his desk. The lamp is manufactured in high-quality materials with arm and lampshade in powder-coated aluminium, base in die-cast powder-coated aluminum with associated cast iron weights, and shade cover in chrome.
