Tao Chair is a very comfortable armchair from Adea, designed by Jukka Setälä in 2018. The armchair is characterized by the curved, upholstered cushion that forms both backrest and seat, which tricks the eye into sitting loosely on the base. The trick that stabilizes the backrest is a curved metal rod that runs from the front wooden frame, under the seat and through the back of the backrest.

The armchair is shown in the fabric Orsetto 0011 and is available in Natural Oak, Black Oak and Ash White Stain underframes. The soft and backward-leaning armchair is ideal for leaning back and reading a book or just relaxing in. For extra comfort, you can add the footstool Tao Ottoman, which can be chosen in the same design as the Tao Chair.
