Nelson Bench was designed in 1964 by designer George Nelson for Swiss brand Vitra. Nelson is available in two sizes and is made of ash with either a natural or black lacquered finish. The bench has several uses, including being used as a bench to sit on, a coffee table, or for storage. The bench is considered a modern classic with clean lines that reflect George Nelson's background as an architect. Nelson was looking to create “honest” design with design as a visual statement.
