Taraxacum 88 Suspension 1 Led is a ceiling lamp designed in 1988 by Achille Castiglioni for Italian Flos. With 60 LED lights attached to a frame of equilateral triangles, Taraxacum 88 Led is a cool ceiling light and a work of art in itself. Manufactured from aluminum and steel. Taraxacum 88 Led is part of the Taraxacum series, which also includes Taraxacum 88 Ceiling/Wall and the larger model Taraxacum 88 Suspension 2.
The name Taraxacum is the scientific name for dandelion, which the shape of the lamp mimics. Normally, the dandelion is considered a weed, but here it takes shape in a beautiful lamp and suddenly stands for something new and innovative.
