Assouline is a French brand established in Paris in 1994 by Prosper and Martine Assouline. The brand is known for its exclusive books, home fragrances and art objects, which combine creative design and high-quality materials. The story began with La Colombe d'Or, a book released in 1994 that combined Martine's editorial vision with Prosper's photographic expertise. Assouline has since launched several prominent collections, including The Memoir Collection, which focuses on art, fashion and architecture, and The Impossible Collection, whose hand-bound editions have become symbols of modern book art.

Assouline operates a series of flagship stores in world cities such as Paris, New York, London and Istanbul. The stores present both the full range of books and unique vintage objects in an environment reminiscent of a curio cabinet. In 2019, Assouline partnered with One Tree Planted and has since planted over 200,000 trees, reflecting the company's commitment to sustainability.
