The Maggiolina footstool complements the award-winning Maggiolina lounge chair by Zanotta. Designed by Marco Zanuso in 1947, Maggiolina is a classic of yesteryear that is still very much in vogue today. The table has an elegant frame made of solid stainless steel bars. The frame is fitted with a simple cowhide seat that holds two soft, comfortable cushions. The back cushion is upholstered with goose feathers and the seat cushion with polyurethane and Dacron Du Pont. The cushions and armrests are made of leather and are available in a choice of colors. Maggiolina has a high level of seating comfort and works well as a stand-alone chair, or as part of a larger seating group. The footrest is combined with the footrest of this additional footstool for optimum comfort.
With Maggiolina, Marco Zanuso won a gold medal at the Milan Triennale in 1948. The chair is also part of the permanent collection of the Die Neue Sammlung Museum, Munich.
