Akari UF4-L10 is a screen lamp from Vitra designed by the Japanese-American architect and designer Isamu Noguchi in 1951 as part of the Akari lamp series. The Akari lamp series consists of lamps handmade in shoji paper. Shoji paper is paper made from the bark of the mulberry tree. Akari UF4-L10 is designed in white shoji paper and is held up by four black lacquered steel legs. All light sculptures in the Akari series are marked with a logo representing the sun and the moon, which confirms the authenticity of each product.
