Akari UF4-33N is a lamp shade from Vitra designed by the Japanese-American architect and artist Isamu Noguchi in 1951 as part of the Akari lamp series. The Akari lamp series consists of lamps made by hand in shoji paper, paper made from the bark of mulberry trees. Akari UF4-33N is designed in white shoji paper and is held up by three steel legs that are painted black. All light sculptures in the Akari series are marked with a logo representing the sun and the moon, which confirms the authenticity of each product.
