Mass Light NA5 is a small and decorative pendant light, created by Norm Architects for Danish &tradition in 2012. The pendant light was developed after Norm Architects were inspired by old streetlamps during their travels to Paris, New York, and Barcelona, among other places. They were fascinated by the lamps characterful cast iron top with a semi-transparent round glass dome underneath. When they were back in the studio in Copenhagen, they took the shape and combined it with new materials to create a beautiful pendant for indoor use.
&tradition's Mass Light NA5 comes with a round lampshade of mouth-blown, white satin opal glass. This allows the light to diffuse pleasantly and softly in the room, without glowing annoyingly. In an immediate contrast, the glass dome has been set against a piece in either brass or black marble. Whichever design you choose, the pendant comes with a four-meter-long black fabric cable.
