Hurricane Lamp Boule Large Smoky Gray is a lantern made of hand-blown glass from the Swedish brand Skogsberg & Smart. The surface of the lantern is filled with optical bubbles that give it a shimmering light in a stylistic kinship with the glass design of the 1970s. Thanks to its size, the lantern also works well as a vase for a bouquet.
Boule is available in several different colors, which makes an interesting contribution to the interior design of any home. The bubbles occur in the manufacturing process when the glass mass is blown into a cast iron mold which is then shaped by hand. Each lantern gets a unique pattern and a luxurious weight. The lanterns are mouth-blown in the countryside of Bohemia in the Czech Republic.
