Lanterna is a pendant lamp designed in 2001 by Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli for Oluce. The ceiling lamp has a pure form and consists of two bell-shaped shades made in the mecca of glass: Murano in Venice. The outer shade is transparent while the inner shade, which contains the light source, is frosted. Lanterna gives off a pleasant, soft light through the two glass domes. In contrast to the glass domes, the top of Lanterna features a glazed metal attachment. If you would like a smaller variant, there is also its little sister, Lanternina.
