In 1977, Oluce launched the Atollo – Gold lamp by world-renowned designer Vico Magistretti for Oluce. The lamp is today considered a design classic and its design is as simple as it is ingenious, consisting of three geometric shapes: the cylinder, the cone and the hemisphere. Atollo – Gold is made of gold-plated metal. The lamp is available in three different sizes to be used as a bedside lamp as well as a table lamp or floor lamp. The smallest variant of the lamp, which has the designation 238, is equipped with one light source, while the two larger models, Atollo 233 and Atollo 239, have two light sources for increased brightness. These two models also have a cable with a universal dimmer that makes it easy and convenient to adjust the brightness. In addition to this variant in gold-plated metal, there are also Atollo - Opal, Atollo - White, Atollo - Black and Atollo - Satin Bronze.

Since its launch, Atollo – Gold has become a beloved classic and revolutionized the way we look at the classic bedside lamp, table lamp and floor lamp. In 1979, Atollo won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award. Since its launch, it has become part of the permanent collections of several reputable museums, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
