The Helios chandelier was designed by Joakim Thedin and launched in 2020 in collaboration with the Swedish lighting company Oblure. In creating Helios, Thedin aimed to reinvent the classic chandelier. The lamp has a steel frame and consists of 232 acrylic rods that are lit by an LED light source, hidden in the centre of the lamp. When extinguished, Helios has a cold and crisp appearance, while when lit, it gives a vibrant and glowing appearance like the sun. The acrylic rods project and further enhance the light from the light source. With Helios, you get a stately eye-catcher in the room that will look great in many areas of the home such as the hallway or dining room.
