Lacquer Pendant Large is designed by designer Keiji Takeuchi for NINE. The lamp is part of the Lacquer collection, which consists of several modern pendant lamps in different sizes. The shape, color and finish of the lamps are inspired by traditional Japanese lacquer bowls. The pendant lamp comes with an integrated LED light source that can be replaced and a dimmer that provides an even, high-quality light. The lamp is made of steel and the dimmer is made of polycarbonate plastic. It is perfect for hanging above a dining table or as a focal point in the living room.
Keiji Takeuchi was born in Fukuoka, Japan, but spent most of his youth in New Zealand. He worked for Naoto Fukasawa in Tokyo and later moved to Milan to start Naoto's European office. In 2015 he established his own design studio in Milan.
