Tropicalia Armchair Varnished is an outdoor chair made by the Italian brand Moroso. Behind the design is Patricia Urquiola, who created a follow-up for her previous collection for the brand, Antibodi. She began with the frame from that collection, as the starting point for something that would get a creative makeover here. The new lounge chair has been given a new personality by using wood to create a surface that is both graphical and textural. Depending on the number of colors used and the materials, it can be perceived as playful or more elegant and sophisticated.
The frame is made of powder-coated steel and is suitable for outdoor use. You can also choose from the colorways Milk/Opaline, Sage/Gray or Light Black/Medium Black. The collection also includes chairs and a sun lounger which can be found at Nordiska Galleriet.
