Hortensia Armchair is a strong chair from Moooi designed by Andrés Reisinger Júlia Esqué in 2021. The piece resembles a beautiful hydrangea, and the ambition is to imitate the feeling of sitting inside a flower, wrapped in soft petals. The Hortensia (Hydrangea) Armchair is inspired by the human need for security and comfort. It has a soft and voluminous design and is made from 30,000 petals wrapped around a frame, with foam padding.
The chair comes in two variants, Petal Pink and Petal Gray, and will be an eye-catching feature in living rooms, hotels and restaurants.
