Aïku Soft Chair is a chair designed by Jean Marie Massaud for MDF Italia year 2018. The chair is a fully finished version of Aïku Chair which was launched year 2016. The chair is available in a wide range of fabrics and colors. In addition to the classic finishes, the base is also available in chrome gold, rose gold, nickel and black. The chair is also stackable.
The name Aïku comes from the Japanese word haiku, which is a form of poetry based on three verses. The unique rhetoric of haiku is reflected in the chair's function and aesthetic, which can be likened to the chair's sophisticated design that is at once minimalist and playful.
