The TMBO Lounge Chair, designed by the Danish architect Magnus Læssøe Stephensen in 1935 for Mazo, is an armchair that elegantly combines the Japanese design tradition with Scandinavian style. This armchair is characterized by simplicity and a relaxed aesthetic, combined with confident and bold shapes. A distinctive feature of the TMBO series, which also includes this armchair, is the characteristically curved back. This design aspect envelops the user and offers a comfortable and supportive sitting position. Within the same series there is also a matching sofa and a footstool, which can complement the armchair to create a unified and relaxing seating area.
