Cobra is a table lamp from Martinelli Luce designed by Elio Martinelli in 1968. Cobra was one of the first lamps to be produced in moulded resin, through a very advanced manufacturing process for its time. Cobra consists of a spherical shape in two parts, shade and base, uniformly joined by a straight joint that can be rotated through 360°. Comes with black cable and on/off button.
Cobra's character is enhanced by clean lines and a minimalist design. Originally produced in white and black, the lamp will be relaunched in 2018 in a clear color with Martinelli's signature to celebrate Cobra's 50th anniversary. The inspiration behind the design comes from the shape and movement of the cobra, which first dances hypnotically to the music before striding out to attack.
