This is the Orion Tube Light, created by designer Lee Broom for his own brand. The designer often designs his light fixtures with various subtleties and the Orion Tube Light is no exception. You can suspend the pendant lamp either horizontally or vertically, allowing even more applications. Horizontally, the lamp works extremely well above a dining table, for example, while it can replace the traditional floor lamp in a room when hung vertically.
Broom fashioned the Orion Tube Light with an opal acrylic stem for a pleasant and powerful light distribution. A decorative sphere of steel, available in gunmetal and gold, tops the tube. The lamp also combines nicely in a grouping with the inverted version Orion Globe Light, where the lightbulb rests in the globe itself.
