Carousel XL is a pendant lamp designed in 2012 and produced by the English brand Lee Broom. The lamp consists of 60 cylinders layered on top of each other and together they form a large circle. Inside each cylinder is an LED lightbulb. The lamp is available in three color-polished finishes, or in black with a matte finish. Its size makes it suitable for use as a ceiling chandelier in a living room, for example.
Lee Broom got the inspiration for Carousel, as the name suggests, from the merry-go-rounds found on traditional British nurseries. Carousel is also available in a smaller version, with 30 lights.
