Kenko was founded in 2016 by Andreas Bachmann and Fritz Grospietsch, two product designers who have made a name for themselves by trading in design classics. Since 2020, the company and their showroom are housed in Berlin. Kenko manufactures well-designed sports products for everyday use such as dumbbells, gymnastic rings, skipping ropes and kettlebells. With their stylish design, where great importance is attached to function, the products are not only pure sports equipment but also take their place in the home interior as sculptural objects.

Fitness routine and home interior

The Varumäs collections offer a pared-down interpretation of fitness equipment based on natural materials such as cork and wood in geometric shapes. With the motto of offering sports equipment as beautiful as your home, it develops products that naturally become part of both your fitness routine and your home interior.

Focus on sustainability

Kenko focuses not only on function and design, but also on pursuing a sustainable line when it comes to materials and production. The products consist of FSC-certified natural materials that can be broken down into individual parts for recycling at the end of their life cycle. All packaging is also 100% plastic-free. Based in Berlin, delivery times are kept short. Most of the product parts are manufactured in Germany and then assembled and quality tested in Berlin.
