Creativity and playfulness challenge the traditional

With close to 2,900 stores and retailers in more than 130 countries worldwide, Kartell is an international reference point for Italian design. For more than 60 years, plastic has been the main material Kartell has used to design its products, and it is constantly working to challenge traditional notions. A unique balance between the playful color scheme and the modern, more serious shape is what makes the product so striking. With designers constantly striving to drive innovation and create freely from their own creativity and playfulness, it’s no wonder that Kartell attracts world-class designers.

Designer Ferruccio Laviani created the hugely popular Kartell Fly lamp; with its simple shape and many colors, it has become one of Kartell’s best sellers. A focal point anywhere in the home, with a design that elevates any room, Kartell Fly is great in a group or used singly. The LED light that accompanies it is visible through the plastic and adds an extra detail to the already stylish design. Kartell Fly gets its name from the way it hangs from the ceiling. It almost looks as if it is flying. The popular lamp is available in a total of seventeen designs. Thirteen are transparent, two are solid and two are matt. There is also a clear and transparent version, and three metallic versions.
