Sferico is a series of drinking glasses designed by Italian fashion star Joe Colombo in 1968. The series is produced today by Karakter and consists of several drinking glasses in different shapes, including Sferico No. 4. The glasses are handcrafted from mouth-blown transparent glass and are characterized by their geometric shapes stacked on top of each other. Joe Colombo strove to create democratic and functional designs, of which the Sferico series is a clear example. Sferico No. 4 can be used for a variety of beverages such as water, cocktails, whisky, wine, beer, juice, champagne or why not as a spoon for dessert? All glasses in the Sferico series are dishwasher safe.

During his lifetime, Joe Colombo designed many drinking glasses, something that was close to his heart; drinking and smoking was a passion. This contributed to his early death at only 41 years of age. Karakter is proud to offer Sferico No. 4 and many of his finest drinking glasses and hopes that with this collection Colombo would be happy to see his creations live on half a century after his passing.
