Aluminum Etch is an armchair designed by Mats Theselius and manufactured by Källemo, with etched aluminum, covered in natural vegetable tanned leather from Tärnsjö Tannery with beech frame and markings. An aluminum sheet with visible but not noticeable scratches can be given new life by etching. This process gives a lively and expressive surface where each armchair becomes unique. By reusing materials with blemishes in this way, an interesting aesthetic expression is achieved while contributing positively from an environmental perspective. It is with this philosophy that Källemo and Mats Theselius can proudly present the Aluminum Etch model.
The aluminum armchair was Mats Theselius' first collaboration with Källemo, back in 1988. The iconic model is available in several different designs.
