Birdie is a ceiling lamp designed in 2002 by German brand Ingo Maurer. Birdie is made of metal, has a light fan and twelve light bulbs. When the Birdie lamps are made, the metal frame of each individual lamp is formed by hand, which is an advanced craft. This makes each lamp unique as no two are exactly alike. Ingo Maurer has created something special with the Birdie collection, the technique for hiding lampshades that you usually use has been completely redesigned by Ingo Maurer. It retains the simplicity of the lamp - the light bulb and the cables become the sole focus.
Birdie is part of the Birdie collection along with Birdies’s Nest, Birds Birds Birds, Lucellino, Birdie’s Busch, Birdie’s Ring and Seven off the Wall. The lamp is beautiful and has an exclusive expression. Choose between red or transparent cables.
