Babadul is a floor lamp designed in 2017 by the German brand Ingo Maurer. The lamp is made of paper, metal, powder-coated steel and silicone. The paper screen has a shape reminiscent of flower petals and is made from a Japanese paper that is treated in several steps to achieve the perfect shape.
The unique lamp creates a harmonious feeling in the room thanks to the soft and warm light it emits. The light source for Babadul is an LED lamp which in turn is integrated in the lamp and therefore it is recommended to consult an electrician about the procedure for replacing the light source. Babadul fits well in both the living room, the bedroom or in public environments.
