But since 1990, Ichendorf Milano's design studio has been based in Milan, where the brand has grown to become one of Italy's top glass manufacturers. The brand was born out of the idea of highlighting stylish shapes and the purity of materials. This was done by using a mixture of substances, including silica, in the manufacture of glass.
