Hee Lounge Chair is a lounge chair designed by Hee Welling for the Danish brand HAY. The chair is made entirely of steel that has been powder-coated and is available in Asphalt Gray, Black, Fall Green, Rust, and White. Hee Lounge Chair is functional in design as it is stackable and can be used both outdoors and indoors, in public and private settings. Thanks to the wide seat and low height, it has a relaxed look. The collection also includes the Hee Dining Chair.
Hee Welling is a Danish designer who founded his own studio in 2003 in Copenhagen. His designs are characterized by a sense of proportion and relaxed elegance. The focus is on the idea of creating technically accomplished products that can reach a broad mass. Welling has won numerous design awards, including the Bo Bedre Award in Denmark and the Good Design Award in the United States. In addition, he has been nominated for Danish Designer of the Year in both 2013 and 2014.
