The dining chair N. 14 Anniversary Chair was designed for Gebrüder Thonet Vienna (GTV) in 2010 and is a further development of one of the most famous and best-selling chairs ever – N. 14, designed by Michael Thonet, the famous pioneer in industrial design as well as the founder of GTV in 1860. The N. 14 Anniversary Chair was designed as a tribute to the iconic chair's 150th anniversary.
The N. 14 Anniversary Chair has a minimalist design with a base and a backrest that meet in a beautiful construction with round, soft shapes. What is unique about this version of the design classic N. 14 is the round ring that forms a decorative detail in the frame of the chair. At Nordiska Galleriet you can also find the original N. 14.
