Biny Bedside is a bedside lamp from DCW éditions, designed by Frenchman Jacques Biny. The lamp is perfect for placing next to the headboard and contributes both good function and modern elegance. Biny Bedside has many practical features such as an integrated LED spotlight that allows you to use the lamp as a reading lamp without disturbing your partner. The wall lamp is also equipped with an LED plate with adjustable shade that provides an incredibly soft general lighting in the room. The Biny lighting collection was originally produced in Jacques Biny's own workshop, Luminalite, which he opened in 1955. There he produced modern fixtures with an emphasis on functionality and a style characterized by simplicity, restraint, and elegance. Jacques Biny sought to improve the lighting in people's homes and his lamps became popular in Europe and America. Against this background, DCW éditions resumed production of the Biny Bedside and the other lamps in the series.
