Christine Schwarzer

Christine Schwarzer is a Danish designer known for her innovative and timeless furniture. She was educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design in Copenhagen, and The University of Art and Design in Helsinki, where she graduated in 1999. Since then, she has run her own design studio and is well-known for designing the Flower table series.

Christine Schwarzer was born in 1970 in Denmark, and her career took off through a strong interest in furniture that combines simplicity with function. She often draws inspiration from traditional Danish design, but adds a modern twist that makes her work unique. With a unique ability to blend function and aesthetics, Christine Schwarzer creates furniture that fits both modern and classic interiors. Her design goal is to "make the world a little more beautiful, fun, happy, and playful".

She has always had a strong creative streak, making her own toys as a child. Her passion for creating has followed her throughout life and could have easily led her to a career as an artist, but she chose design instead. The creative process is what brings her the most joy, focusing on simple, graphic forms without excessive details. She draws inspiration from a variety of influences, such as modern art, color combinations, and patterns. Music also plays an important role in her creative process, and she strives to challenge routines and traditions.
