LC2 is a comfortable sofa. It has light cushions with polyurethane foam and polyester padding or feather padding with polyurethane tanks. Leather upholstery. The LC2, with its straight lines and attractive lines, has become a true classic. In addition to its comfort and magnificent design, the LC2 is characterized by its square base in polished chrome. The chair is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Arts.
The classic LC series stands alone in the design world. Originally created by the designer trio Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in 1928, it was exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in Paris in 1929. The French designer trio's collaboration resulted in furniture that was distinguished by high quality, consistent shapes and worked as well in the marketplace as it does today.
The cushions are made of fabric or leather and are available in a wide variety of colors. Thanks to its iconic status and simple, stylish design, the LC2 is a favorite with us at Nordiska Galleriet. The LC2 along with the LC series is legendary and celebrated even today, 90 years later which we believe is a sign of good past design.
