The SH900 Extend Table is, as the name suggests, an extendable and expandable dining table. The design was developed in 2007 by the duo Strand & Hvass for the Danish Carl Hansen & Søn as a tribute to the old masters who had previously shaped the brand's range, while experimenting with new material combinations and structures. The entire SH900 Extend Table is characterized by clean lines and few visible details but comes with hidden finesse and solid craftsmanship – in line with Carl Hansen & Søn's design philosophy.
The table has built-in extension leaves in a stylish black finish that provides a distinct contrast to the robust tabletop and legs of solid oak. With the help of a hidden system, you unlock the table to extend it, then easily unfold the extension leaves to create space for four extra guests.
