The CH24 Children's Wishbone Chair from Carl Hansen is a children's version of the iconic CH24 Y-Chair and is a tribute to Hans J. Wegner's 110th birthday. Designed in 1949, this chair is now redesigned to welcome children from the age of three into the world of design. The smaller version maintains the complexity of the original and is made from fourteen components through more than a hundred handcrafted production steps. The seat is woven in an envelope pattern technique with 75 meters of FSC certified paper cord, which is 33% thinner than the original to match the smaller scale. The chair's frame is made of FSC-certified oak, which does not compromise on either design or quality.
In a tribute to Wegner's work, this children's chair is a testament to timeless design for the next generation.
