Swedish designer Johan Lindstén designed in 2014 Meltdown for the Italian design brand Cappellini. Meltdown was originally a series of ceiling lamps that has been expanded with floor and table lamps. The spherical lamps are hand-blown in thin, frosted glass and have a special design inspired by the Fukushima nuclear disaster, when the light bulb appears to melt through the last protective glass.
The table lamp consists of a lamp that can be chosen colors dove gray, rose, tobacco, light blue, amethyst, and amber. The floor lamp version is available with five or more lamps in the same color or in a mix. Meltdown has a unique and elegant design that will suit any interior.
