The Kandti Vase is a decorative vase from the Italian ceramics brand Bosa and comes in two designs. Kandti Vase was designed in 2017 by Elena Salmistraro and belongs to the Primates collection. The design language is dynamic, and the inspiration comes from the golden marmoset monkey genus. The vase is hand-painted with colors from the brand's own color palette and is made of high-quality ceramics, decorative metals and is glazed.
The collection reminds us of the relationship between humans and our closest relative, the monkey. With the design, Elena Salmistraro wants to reflect on similarities in body language, facial expression, and movement. The first collection was shown in 2017 at Maison&Objet and included vases. The inspiration for the design comes from three different genera of monkeys, the mandrill, the golden markatta and the brazzas markatta. The elegant vases fit equally well on a table or a chest of drawers and are a decorative interior detail.
