Wedge is a rug from Asplund, designed by Marie-Louise Hellgren. This rug represents the first collaborative project between Asplund and Hellgren. The rug is hand tufted in Tencel, a sustainable and environmentally friendly fiber known for its trademark lyocell fiber of botanical origin. Tencel is produced from fast-growing plants such as eucalyptus, which require low water consumption, making the material a sustainable choice. The rug's design is characterized by a unique geometric pattern, which is one of Hellgren's signature designs.
