Pipe is a uniquely shaped floor lamp designed by Herzog de Meuron for Artemide. Pipe has a steel-based base and stem covered with natural platinum silicone and a diffuser in translucent polycarbonate with a rubber-like coating. It has an internal reflector in mirror-finish aluminum with random perforations and the built-in LED lamp provides less power consumption and better light quality. The body of the floor lamp consists of a tubular steel construction with a fixed base and an adjustable top.
The Pipe emits a direct, diffused light that can be directed where it is needed and has a built-in touch dimmer that allows the light to be easily adjusted to the room and mood. Pipe is also available as a pendant, ceiling, and wall lamp.
