The stylish 81B table was created by Alvar Aalto in 1935 for the Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek. This is a beautiful and stylish piece of furniture that encapsulates Aalto's contribution to functional furniture design. The dining table was as modern then as it is now, and Aalto's influence is clear in the slightly curved legs in an L-shape and with the simple, clean top. Table 81B is made of molded birch and has a 5 cm thick table top in three different finishes: white laminate, black linoleum, or birch veneer.
