Foku Chair is a fully upholstered lounge chair from 101 Copenhagen, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl. The lounge chair is inspired by traditional Japanese garden tools. Its geometric shapes create a sculptural piece of furniture that references the rakes used in Zen gardens. The ribbed seat reflects the minimalist lines of the sand and is reinterpreted in a modern design. Multiple layers of foam provide soft and comfortable seating while emphasizing the voluminous shape of the chair. The Foku chair can be combined with more to form a sofa lounge. Two metal brackets are included for easy and discreet assembly under the legs.
